On the Monday, October 9, 2023 MNF & MLB Discussion, a caller of the community, Anthony (1:03:30 minute mark), made a great observation about the supposed pirates sinking ships by the San Francisco Bay. After work, I looked up to further details. Unknowingly, I had stumbled onto another story instead, ‘Piracy is real’, where a sailboat was moored south of the 312 Bridge in St. Augustine, through the Bridge of Lions, then out to the ocean a mile north along the coast until it somehow ended in Vilano Beach, in one night, Jacksonville, Florida. This happened supposedly on a Saturday, September 9, 2023 (9/9/23)

The Spiritual Doctrine, was written by Louis Lallemant, S.J., showing how the Jesuits interpreted their spirituality and identity in France some seventy years after Ignatius’s death. A Jesuit since 1605, Lallemant worked both in the intellectual and in the spiritual formation of young Jesuits of the province of France for twenty years (1615–35).
